ABOUT IIFT
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was set up in 1963 by the Government of India as an autonomous organisation to help professionalize the country's foreign trade management and increase exports by developing human resources; generating, analyzing and disseminating data; and conducting research.
The Institute visualizes its future role as:
- A catalyst for new ideas, concepts and skills for the internationalization of the Indian economy.
- The primary provider of training and research-based consultancy in the areas of international business, both for the corporate sector, Government and the students’ community.
- An institution with proven capability to continuously upgrade its knowledge base with a view to servicing the requirements of the Government, trade and industry through both sponsored and non-sponsored research and consultancy assignments.
The Institute's portfolio of long-term programmes is diverse, catering to the requirements of aspiring International Business executives and mid-career professionals alike. IIFT has, over the years, undertaken path-breaking research studies with organisations like WTO, World Bank, UNCTAD and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The Institute has also trained more than 40,000 business professionals across 30 countries in various facets of international business and trade policy via its Management Development Programmes.
Finance at IIFT is one of the most vibrant functional areas. IIFT has a well designed finance curriculum with a healthy mix of cores and electives. All course development has been done keeping in mind the requirements of the business world and with the aim of equipping students with the ability to deal with real life business problems. ABOUT BOMBAY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY
The Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, established in 1836, today has a membership of over 3,000 most reputed large and medium, professionally managed, corporate manufacturing and commercial companies, financial institutions, multinationals, public sector companies, auditors, architects and chartered accountants. The member companies of the Chamber together contribute roughly one third of India’s GDP in the manufacturing & services sector.

ABOUT CASHONOVA: The Finance & Investments Club
Cashonova is the Finance and Investments Club at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). The club aims at developing fin-enthusiasts' knowledge about all aspects of modern day finance and in promoting finance as a career option amongst the student community of IIFT. It also aims to foster stronger relationships between IIFTians and the corporate world by organizing workshops, guest lectures and industry interactions on an ongoing basis.
